Discover the top five apps that will supercharge your A-level revision, making studying more efficient and effective than ever before.

1. Forest App | Free | IOS & Android

If you’re a fan of revising in short spurts with the Pomodoro technique, or just find it plain hard to stay away from your phone or computer, the Forest app is a great way to ensure that you stay focused.

How does it work? If you want to temporarily put down your phone and focus on what’s more important in real life, you can plant a seed in Forest. Set a timer from a single minute to multiple hours. As your time goes by, this seed will gradually grow into a tree. However, if you cannot resist the temptation of using your phone and leave the app, your tree will wither and die.

Over time, with each successful plant, you’ll build a vibrant forest – and learn how to develop better study techniques.

2. EVERNOTE | Free | IOS & Android

Lost your notes again? Or struggling to keep them all in a single place. Evernote is a cross-platform app that allows you to bring your notes, to-do lists, and schedules wherever you are, or whatever device you are on.

The really useful aspect of Evernote is that is syncs across all your devices – whether IOS or android, or even PC, so you’ll have your revision cue cards, notes, and schedule wherever you are! (It also helps to save the planet – no paper!) Start on one device and finish on another.
