GCSEs at Greene's
Your Personal Tutor
Upon joining, you are assigned a Personal Tutor who oversees your academic and personal development. They are your main point of contact, providing the fundamental pastoral care and support you need to flourish and ensuring you are on track to meet your goals.
Weekly Tutorials
For each subject, you will have a weekly tutorial. This protected time with your expert subject tutor allows for a truly personalised learning experience where you can develop critical thinking skills, grasp concepts deeply, and challenge yourself academically.
Small Group Lessons
To complement your tutorials, you will join small group lessons, seminars, and practicals. This is where you can collaborate with peers, engage in discussions, and apply your knowledge, all within a focused and intimate setting.
Continuous Assessment
Regular assignments and timed assessments are a core part of the course. This consistent feedback helps you and your tutors identify areas of strength and opportunity for improvement, ensuring you are thoroughly prepared to achieve your best possible examination results.

For students who wish to fast-track their studies, we also offer an accelerated one-year GCSE programme. This course covers the full curriculum in a condensed timeframe, preparing you for A-levels in just one year.

For students looking to improve specific grades, our retake courses are designed to fit your exact requirements. With tuition that is individual or in groups of no more than three, we provide the focused support you need to rise to the challenge and achieve your full potential.
ENGLISH LANGUAGE STUDY
In addition to your full-time GCSE programme, Greene’s provides dedicated support for international students to develop the English language skills essential for academic success. Our dedicated EFL and IELTS courses help you achieve the proficiency required for future A-level study and university applications. Your Personal Tutor is your academic mentor at Greene’s College Oxford.
